OK the stone that Thomas gave me as a gift is still intriguing me. Latest idea to flash into my mind is that of a whetstone to sharpen the sword I visualise during my grounding meditation.
So it could represent a
-an egg (birth of new life)
- the stone I visualise in my grounding meditation keeping my feet on the ground
- a tool to smash down bariers
- a whetstone to sharpen my defenses against evil
