Faith

I think the one lesson I have learned in the 3 years since this journey started is to have faith that things happen the way they are meant to. And if something feels right it probably is. So as well as needing to have faith in God, I need to have faith in my instincts.

I worried a little aboutt taking retirement - but it has worked out OK.

I asked Sue about Reiki training yesterday. She has answered and I have decided to have some training although I am unsure if I would ever be in a positon to use the training, and if I am honest I am unsure if I really beleive in reiki. Like a lot of complementary therapies there is no clear evidence it works.

Today this is waht comes into my inbox from Sparkpeople

Trying new things can give you a real zest for life. Pushing beyond your comfort zone in a responsible way helps you grow confidence and creativity that you can apply to your everyday life. Do not let fear control what you do (or don't) do? While taking risks can be scary, doing nothing is a big mistake, as it produces nothing fruitful within you. There is a direct relationship between the things that we achieve and the effort we put forth to obtain them. To reach the fruit, you have to climb the tree first!
